حكاية عائلية بدأت بالدقيق، وعبرت إلى البحر الأحمر، ثم عادت إلى مائدة تتّسع للجميع.

From our first madeleine towers to our family sourdough starter, craftsmanship has always been at the heart of our journey. Today, Farina Arena brings that story to a bakery and bistro in Jeddah.
من أبراج المادلين الأولى إلى بادئ العجين المخمّر العائلي، بقيت الحرفة في قلب رحلتنا. واليوم تجمع فارينا أرينا هذه الحكاية في مخبز وبيسترو في جدة.

بدأت حكايتنا في مطبخ بيت في جدة، ثم حملتها الرحلة إلى البحر، وعادت إلى المائدة التي تتسع للجميع.

I · 2018
مرجانةMarjana
It Began at Home
بدأت الحكاية عام 2018، في مطبخ بيت في جدة، مع ضحى. درست الفنون وتصميم الأزياء، فخبزت كما تصمّم: لونًا وملمسًا وهيئة. سمّيناها مرجانة، على اسم مرجان بحرنا.
صنعت المادلين على هيئة الأصداف، ورصّتها أبراجًا، وزيّنتها بالشرائط والزهور. وكان الضيوف يقفون أمامها لحظة أطول قبل أن تمتد اليد إلى القطعة الأولى.
Farina Arena began long before there was an arena. It started in 2018, in a family kitchen in Jeddah, with flour on the counter, recipes being tested and shared, and a simple love for making food for people we cared about. Along the journey came Marjana Jeddah, inspired by our connection to the Red Sea and known for handcrafted sweets and madeleines.
II · 2020
الحرفةThe Craft
From One Flour. Many Crafts.
من المطبخ خرجنا إلى البازارات، ثم إلى الشارع بعربة طعام. هناك، وجهًا لوجه، عرفنا ما يحمله الناس معهم حين يمضون: رائحة، وصوت، ومكان، ومن جلس بجانبهم.
كنا مشروعًا عائليًا منذ البداية. الأفكار تُجرّب في البيت، والوصفات تعبر مائدة العائلة، وكل فرد يضع شيئًا منه في ما نبنيه معًا.
وفي 2020، دخلت المطبخ خميرة الساوردو. دقيق، وماء، وملح، ووقت.
كنا نغذّيها كل يوم، فعلّمتنا الصبر.
What began at home found its way into bazaars, gatherings and celebrations. Farina remained a family effort: ideas were tested at home, recipes crossed the family table, and everyone added something of their own. In 2020, our sourdough starter taught us patience — flour, water, salt and time.
III · 2023
رحلة الذوّاقةGourmet Voyage
One Name. Many Tables.
ثم جاء البحر. في سبتمبر 2023، حملنا ضيافتنا إلى البحر الأحمر. طعام على سطح القارب. سباحة في الصباح. صيد مع الأصدقاء. وغروب مع العائلة.
وصار لكل ما نبنيه اسم واحد: رحلة الذوّاقة — Gourmet Voyage.
خرجت المائدة من البيت ووصلت إلى الماء. وصار البحر جزءًا من طريقتنا في جمع الناس، والاحتفال معهم، واكتشاف أماكن جديدة، ومشاركة الطعام.
Through Gourmet Voyage, food became part of a wider hospitality experience aboard the waters of Jeddah. A memorable table is about more than what is served on it. It is about where you are, who you are with, and how a meal makes you feel.

Set Sail
على سطح القارب، امتدّت الضيافة التي عرفناها في البيت. سباحة في الصباح، وصيد مع الأصدقاء، وغروب تشاركه العائلة.
تغيّر المكان، وبقي ما يجمعنا: الناس، والطعام، والرحلة.
Hospitality left the family kitchen and sailed on the Red Sea. There was food on deck, morning swims, fishing with friends and sunsets with family. The place changed, but the gathering remained.

VII · 2025
الأفقThe Horizon
The Horizon Kept Opening
ووصلت الصدفة إلى بحرها. في 2025، التحقنا بشركائنا في Hideout، المكان الذي افتتحوه في 2018، السنة نفسها التي بدأ فيها مطبخنا.
صارت القصتان قصة واحدة، واتّسعت العائلة التي تقف خلف المشروع. طلينا الجدران كلها بالأبيض، لون الدقيق، ووضعنا الفرن في قلب المكان.
In 2025, we joined our partners at Hideout. Their place had opened in 2018, the same year our home kitchen began. Two stories became one. We painted the walls white, the color of flour, and placed the oven at the heart of the room.

ضيف يطلب قهوته المعتادة. وآخر يختار الطاولة نفسها في كل مرة، كأن قدميه تعرفان الطريق. ونحن نعرف السبب.
طعم الإياب — Taste of Return
ضيوف يزورون، وضيوف يعودون، ومن يعود يصبح جزءًا من الرحلة؛ من رفاقها، Voyagers.
Some guests come for the first time. Others return for their usual coffee or the table they know by heart. Those who return become part of the voyage — our Voyagers. We call that feeling a Taste of Return.

البيتThe House
Every Journey Carried Home With It
وفي 2026، فُتحت الأبواب باسم Farina Arena. خميرة الساوردو التي بدأت في مطبخ البيت تغذّي اليوم مخبزًا كاملًا. وصار المخبز هو المطبخ.
نصنع خبزنا في المكان. يخرج الساوردو من قالب الرغيف ليدخل في الطعام الذي نقدّمه. ويغادر البريوش المخبز إلى البرجر. وتتحول العجائن إلى بيتزا وساندويتشات وأطباق تبدأ من الحرفة نفسها التي بدأنا نتعلمها في البيت قبل أعوام.
In 2026, these experiences came together as Farina Arena – Bakery & Bistro. The bakery is our kitchen. We make our breads and baked goods in-house, then build dishes around them. Sourdough becomes part of breakfast, sandwiches and pizza. Brioche becomes the foundation of a burger. Pastries move from the bakery counter to celebrations and family tables.

Still Unwritten
حملت Farina معها شيئًا آخر من البيت: حرية المائدة. قد تصل عائلة عند الغروب؛ يريد أحدهم فطورًا، ويريد آخر وجبة رئيسية، وللأطفال ما يشتهونه، بينما يكتفي آخر بالحلوى والقهوة. فتجتمع كلها على المائدة نفسها.
سمّينا هذه الفلسفة Casual Free-Style Dining: مائدة واحدة. أذواق مختلفة. في أي وقت من اليوم.
ومع شركاء جدد، وأماكن جديدة، ووجهات تنتظرنا خلف الأفق، يبقى جوهرنا عائليًا: أناس يبنون شيئًا معًا، ثم يفسحون على المائدة مكانًا للآخرين.
This is Casual Free-Style Dining. Breakfast can arrive at sunset while someone else chooses a main course, a pastry, or coffee. Children, friends and family can each choose what they want. Someone fasting on a Monday or Thursday can break their fast with breakfast at Maghrib while the rest of the table orders dinner. There is room for all of it.

صار المطبخ مخبزًا. ووصلت الصدفة إلى البحر. وعادت الرحلة إلى المائدة. فكل رحلة تحمل شيئًا من البيت معها.
The home kitchen gave us craftsmanship. Jeddah gave us character. The Red Sea gave us a sense of adventure. Farina Arena is where those experiences meet: a bakery that became a table, a table that became a gathering place.
